Everybody is talking about whether or not Michele Lujan Grisham, the Governor of New Mexico, violated the close down orders for businesses. Personally I don't care where or how she purchased her last wad of silver jewelry.
What I do care about is her practice of wearing her very expensive jewelry during her weekly press conferences. In a relatively poor state, where a multitude of people are without incomes, due to her orders, I believe it shows very poor taste.
She needs to get real and come down off her pedestal. Join the rest of the people you represent Ms. Grisham and keep your expensive purchases where they belong- at home.
