Ask and thou shall receive

A Facebook group I am in asked, "what is the one thing you want in 2019, except for good health?" Hey, we all want good health!

Without an once of hesitation I replied, "a mate who actually sees me".

I was married for a total of 40 years to two different men, neither of whom actually saw what/who they had. Both of them were way too busy focusing on their own needs. Hello!! I am still waiting for a spiritual match.

I am aware that the bible says, "ask and thou shall receive", but I am wondering just how many times one is supposed to ask. Surely with all those billions of souls roaming around out in space there has to be one who fits my request.
