I needed some cookies but didn't feel like going to the store. So......
Sugar Cookies 400 degree oven 10 minutes
2 eggs, beat with a fork
2/3 cup oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp.. lemon
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
To egg add oil, vanilla, lemon. Blend in sugar, Add flour, salt & baking powder. Drop with teaspoon 2" apart. Smash with greased glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes.
I am so tired of the shit Trump is getting away with. It is hard to believe Republicans are closing their eyes and simply not seeing this crap. Some are even going so far as to say he is the greatest president we have ever had. Seriously? A great president is going to defy the constitution and the court system? All it would really take is for one police officer to arrest him. If Musk was banned from the prison he couldn't interfere this time.I suppose that is too much to hope for! Why in the world would I expect anything good to happen during this administration?
I have three children, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Of those individuals one son, one grandson and one great grand child communicate. I suppose it could be worse. At least I have a representative from each generation still talking to me.
My first husband was a womanizing jackass, my second husband was a committed alcoholic. To say I have had an easy life would be a joke.It began in Ketchikan, Alaska and moved on down from Washington, California to New Mexico. I like the little town of Grants so I think I will stay. I have had many pets along the way. Skippy, Alfy, Bandit, Pepper, Tippy, Ebony, Smokey, Ejay and Lilly. I think she will be my last.
On this Mother's Day 2025 it is a bit lonely as most of my family do not even speak to me. That is mostly their choice! So I wish my friends a happy Mother's Day instead.
With the weather so crazy it is sometimes nice to make a simple soup.
Busy Day Soup
1 # ground beef-brown & drain.(I added a little onion and garlic)
5 cups water
28 oz. diced tomatoes
1 package onion soup mix
Simmer for 1 hour then add-
1 cup macaroni & 1 3/4 cup frozen vegetables, cook for 15 minutes.
Feel free to add seasonings of your choice.
I don't consider myself either. In the last election I voted for Harris because I felt Trump was unfit for the office of president. I haven't changed my opinion. Today I cancelled Occupy Democrats from my Facebook posts. I just got tired of all the crap. If Trump is as guilty of half the crap they say he was he would be in prison or a mental institution. He isn't a great president and never has been in my opinion. I have no idea what is going to happen, but something has to change. These lies on both sides have to stop!They are driving everyone crazy!
I don't think Kamala Harris could have made as many mistakes as Trump has. It is probably time we gave a female a chance to govern too.
